Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How long have you been drawing?
A. Since I was a child. Art has always been a passion of mine.

Q. How long does it take you to make a picture?
A. Well that depends on the complexity. For say a single B&W character sometimes as little as a few hours but usually about a day or two is what most of my images take to draw.

Q. What do you use to create your artwork?
A. A combination of things. Usually I do a pencil drawing on bristol board. I then scan it and paint it in Photoshop using a Wacom tablet.

Q. What are your rates?
A. That depends on the complexity of the job, deadline and budget that is available to complete the work. If you are interested in a quote just drop me an email with some information about the project you have in mind and we can go from there.

Q. Is your existing artwork availble for licensing?
A. Yes it is. Any artwork that is copyright to me is available.

Q. I have an idea for a RPG/comic/game but I can't afford to pay you. But don't worry once a company picks it up you will be paid.
A. I'm sorry but I don't work under such speculations. To often this sort of thing goes nowhere and the artist receives no compensation. My opinion is this: if you are serious about creating a product then be prepared to invest some money into it. If you don't believe in your product enough to pay then you can't expect me to believe in it either.

Q. Your art would look great on my product. You won't receive any compensation but it could be great exposure for you.
A. I'm sorry, but no thank you.

Q. I would like to get a tattoo of one your drawings, is that ok?
A. Sure, as long as the tattoo is for yourself, just email me a picture of it when it's done. I have a small collection of photos from fans with their new tattoos and I get a kick out of it.
